After touring several preschools for our son, we knew right away that Oak Grove was the place for us! From the moment we walked in the door and met Heather to our son’s graduation, every day has the been the best. Oak Grove is a family and they not only put a high priority on education but they also work hard to develop a strong community. Through the different events that are led throughout the year, a foundation is built between the school and families and strong friendships are formed. The teachers are loving and nurturing to the children and the relationship goes beyond their time in the classroom. Our daughter is now enrolled and our love for the school continues to deepen. She is greeted at the door by name when she walks in and loves learning and growing. Even in the midst of a shutdown because of the pandemic, the teachers continually made an effort to check-in and virtually connect with the students. We are so grateful to be a part of the Oak Grove family and highly recommend this school!

A rich scholastic curriculum, designed to meet the State of Virginia Standards of Learning, is the focus of our Kindergarten. The class size of 16 students provides an excellent opportunity for each child to learn through small group and individual instruction.

There is a full-time assistant teacher to further support and meet student needs. Our goal is to prepare our students to be confident, independent and ready to take on the world as they enter first grade!
